Read the Bible in a Year
In 2011 at Christ Church we are setting ourselves the challenge to read the bible in a year together.
We will:
- Have set readings each month to keep us on track.
- Read big chunks rather than dot around.
- Provide background information on some of the books i.e. when the prophets wrote & to whom.
- Give each other an opportunity to interact on what we're currently reading.
- To provide a bit of peer-pressure to encourage each other to keep going.
We'll be aiming for 99 chapters per month, roughly 3 chapters a day, and providing a recommended diary as to what to read on what day for those who want it.
