Hugo Charteris

Hugo is the Bible teacher and elder at Christ Church Heaton.  Before moving to Newcastle, Hugo was an Anglican minister on the Wirral and an active member of the North West Partnership. He is married to Jenny, and they have 2 children. Although raised in South Africa, Hugo sees himself as a true Geordie (even if no-one else does).

Jonathan Parker

Jonathan is a ministry trainee at CCH. This role gives him time to study and to gain understanding of what is involved in Christian work. A man of many talents, he helps in a variety of practical ways including youth and kids work and organising the mens' curry club. A football genius he is captain of the church team and in his spare time he likes to help out the nice people at Pizza Hut!

Anne Oyewole

Anne is a PhD student (something to do with biology and skin!) and she is also the primary student contact at CCH. A Londoner in exile, Anne has embraced Newcastle culture in lots of ways. Unfortunately she remains an Arsenal fan, but this does demonstrate in a practical way that all are welcome at CCH!
